Welcome to the Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission
Established in 1958, the Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission (HTAC) is the manager of the Houma-Terrebonne Airport (HUM) and Industrial Park in Houma, Louisiana. It consists of approximately 1,800 acres of land that is split between the airfield and aviation and industrial park tenants. What began as a Naval Installation Blimp Base in 1943 is now one of the busiest airport's in the State of Louisiana, and one of the busiest heliports in the world. In 2011, the HTAC's property, along with the Port of Terrebonne was established as a Foreign Trade Zone to service needs of surrounding business. |
